My news

This page is designed to keep you informed of my latest news, events concerning myself, and to present items of interest to those who would like to keep in touch with what I get up to here in Bristol and elsewhere. Consider it as an occasional mini-blog, or an extended in-house version of Twitter.

There’s also a practical side to this page: it is here where I will announce, for example, when I am not available to take sessions, perhaps because I am travelling or simply taking a break, as well as information about my equipment and implements and new items that I may acquire from time to time.

If it’s easier for some of you to follow me on Twitter, I’ve made it simple: just click on the Twitter icon to the right, and go straight to my profile to follow me on Twitter.

But since you’re here, why not take a look at my news below.

Turning the classic bolero to new uses (back view)

Those with even a passing acquaintance of Spanish culture should know of the bolero, the name of a style of music (made popular in “classical” music circles in 1928 by French composer Maurice Ravel), but, for the point of this News article, also a style of jacket.

Now, this style of jacket is variously defined as “a kind of short jacket not reaching the waist, with or without sleeves and open at the front”, or “a waist-length jacket worn open in front”. So you can see that a bolero-inspired bondage harness made of leather is quite an...Read more

Bound by chains in my Studio

My Studio is the venue for bondage and discipline at my premises, and in these three photos you can observe how chains can be used to ensnare specific protuberances of the upper part of the torso. The effect of ensnarement is highlighted by the aroused state of said protuberances, which, of course, is as it should be.

The second picture provides a close-up...Read more

Presenting the mythical, yet majestic, Butt Ox

After my previous News item – the picture, to be exact – I thought an appropriate follow-up item would be to present the Butt Ox, a creature that’s described as “tiny” and “majestic” on the card. Now, I think I see the Butt Ox here and there, on the odd occasion: fleeting glimpses as it scurries around strange places like my Domestic Room and Studio. But I can’t be sure. So that also makes it a mythical creature, right?

This card was presented to me by a long-time faithful and friend on a particularly auspicious occasion recently. And we all know such cards do not lie; we all know about the Butt Ox, don’t we...Read more

Another scene from Miss Pinch’s domestic room

In my last News item I mentioned that “the beaming smile on the face of [the] chastised recipient...helped light up the room”. Indeed, and here is another “face” that also helped light up the room.

Yes, here I present another scene from my domestic room, a somewhat more of an action shot – a glimpse of some of the results of a “detention” session similar to the one mentioned in the last item. I say some of the results because...Read more

A scene from Miss Pinch’s domestic room

With these two pictures I present a relatively rare glimpse of the workings of a scenario in my domestic room. You can see that “detention” was the official punishment for the “crimes” listed on the traditional chalk blackboard. Not so much crimes as misdemeanours as typically encountered in males of certain ages and dispositions...Read more

A naughty doctor’s cure-all: a double dose of Belgian dark choc

A very thoughtful faithful who knows how to please this particular Bristol Mistress recently brought me, straight from travel, a box of excellent Belgian chocolates. And this was not all: a different faithful also brought me a box of Belgian dark chocolates, although sourced closer to home. Clearly there was something in the air. Perhaps it was a premonition of Belgium doing so well in the World Cup...Read more

The toil of ‘the 16 men of Tain’

The toil of ‘the 16 men of Tain’

One of my faithfuls recently gifted me this half-bottle of Glenmorangie Original single-malt Scotch whisky, so I thought I’d look into its provenance since I’ve never bothered to do so in the past, even though I’m familiar with this whisky and especially like their other bottlings of extra-matured wood finishes (particularly the port-barrel finish, now called the “Quinta Ruban”). Those who appreciate single malts will probably find this of interest.

Here we go: Glenmorangie is a Highland single-malt whisky from the Glenmorangie distillery in the town of Tain, and its stills are reputedly...Read more

The nips are getting bigger (not the song)

There’s nothing like a spot of nipple torment on a warm summer’s day. Many of my faithfuls would agree, especially if they’re in my Studio (which I still manage to keep cool), where I have a large array of devices, implements and tools for the administration of this particular art. These serve a variety of applications providing different sensations...Read more

A wine befitting a Mistress

A wine befitting a Mistress

There are some UK wine importers and distributors who deserve a good spanking. “Why is that?”, I hear you ask. Well, it isn’t for no reason, so I’ll explain. Shiraz has traditionally been one of my favourite varieties of red, along with Cabernet Sauvignon – at least, back in my days in the Antipodes. Unfortunately for my UK Shiraz-drinking experience, though...Read more

China, Sweden, and what does all the hoo-ha, effort and taxpayers’ money amount to, anyway?

Mon. 25 June 2018

Whilst investigating virtual private network (VPN) services to protect my privacy and the security of my personal data, I explored the website of Private Internet Access (PIA), one service that has several times come to my attention as recommended.

PIA hosts a blog, Privacy News Online, which I’ve found very interesting; they seem genuinely committed to the concept of personal privacy and run all sorts of articles concerning privacy and data security. Two of these articles caught my eye, one about China, where the government is enforcing the installment of a spyware app on mobile devices, and the other is about a Swedish-government data leak of immense proportions...Read more
